Robert Thomason of Spruce Pines, N.C., says he has used his technology (divining rods) to find minerals all over the country for 15 years. He said that technology has led him to pinpoint scattered artifacts on the shores of Myrtle Beach. But he and his friend’s quest to unearth them hit a roadblock Tuesday.

I am not a believer in divining rods, are you?

Returned Treasure

Its always nice to see the media have a story about lost items being returned!!

A woman lost her ring in the Cherry Hill Mall (NJ) during the Christmas shopping season. She was distraught.

Her son posted the lost on Craig’s List and other social media sites. The posts went viral.

One of the people who I found a ring for, sent me a message on the lost ring to see if I could help. I don’t think that security would let me in the mall with my equipment (LOL).

This story has a happy ending. The ring was returned. Turns out the lady who lost the ring lives in Philadelphia. The person who found it lives only a few blocks away from the lady who lost the ring.

Last Successful Ring Recovery of 2015

I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy & Healthy New Year.

2015 was very successful for me in being able to return a lot of lost items to people. I am hoping for even more success in 2016.

I added my last recovery for 2015 in my blog. It is titled “Those Darn Leaves!”

If you lose an item, don’t try to rent a metal detector. It takes years of practice to really know what you are doing. Instead, enlist the services of an experienced metal detectorist.
