So I was away with my family for a couple of weeks at the jersey Shore. While there I like to go metal detecting.

Out of the 14 days that we were away, I went detecting about 10 of them. I usually go in the morning to watch the sunrise and have the beach to myself.

While walking back to our place form a day on the beach my son shouts “hey dad look at that!” Its a $20 bill laying on the ground that he picked up.

For those of you who are older, remember the days when if you were walking by a pay phone you would check the coin return slot for change? Well things have changed. While walking down the boardwalk one day, we pasted an ATM machine. My son checks the money slot and finds another $20 bill.

So he now stands at $40 for our trip. My total in change for the 10 days detecting was just over $40.

Guess who will now be checking ATM machines…
